Jade Empire-Closed Fist Ending
Emperor Sun Li knelt before his pupil. Wei of the Lotus stood over his master, and raised his fist, ready to deal the killing blow.
You surprise me again I am a better teacher than I thought.. He muttered weakly as his eyes glazed over with death as the demons of the underworld tore his soul from his body. Wei brought down his fist, smiting Sun Li. Tendrils of energy issued forth from his corpse, blue snakes riveting through the sky, flowing from the palace out into the sky, catching the attention of the heart of Jade Empire down below the floating monument. The Spirit of the Water Dragon appeared before him, grief apparent on her face. Tears flowed like streams from her sapphire eyes. She looked at Wei, and bowed her head. Wei raised his fist once more, and opened his palm. An energy radiated from it, and grew bright. He thrust his hand forward, straight into the Spirit of the Water Dragon. She bit her lip, and did not cry out. She faded in a radiating blast of
War Cry-Ch 1
Thresbule crouched on the tree limb, long ears acutely aware of a rustling in the bushes. His elven hearing enabled him to make out the booted footsteps, but he could not guess what they were from. His sky almond eyes narrowed at the sound, and he raised his bow. Slowly he notched his arrow, not wanting to give away his position in the tree. He breathed out slowly, readying his self. His finger ran along the end of his smooth yew arrow, smooth, flawlessly made by the elven fletchers, with griffin feathers adorning the tip. He steadied his hand and let fly his arrow. It whistled through the air and found its mark easily.
Blast you damn elven archers! Yelled a scruff voice. Out of the bushes marched a dwarf, the arrow caught in his chain mail cuirass. Thresbule fought back a smile as he dropped to the ground and walked to receive his friend as well as his arrow.
I am sorry Granis. I mistook you for an army of Orcs, the way you we
Water Me Up
I lay on the parched ground, gasping
My lungs barely able to work
My throat tightened in dehydration
My skin burns, fire sweeping through my skin
I hear the ground crack
Heat sweeps over me.
A single dark cloud swims through the sky
The cloud swirls and grows
A shadows falls over me, blocking out the harsh light
You stand over me, dripping wet,
Water running off of your smooth skin, pooling around your feet
You smile, and fall onto me, nothing more than a splash
The cloud opens up, and rain falls everywhere around me.
The dirt muddies, cushioning my body
The rain falls onto my skin, soothing my burns
It falls over my cracked lips, into my mouth
I smile, and breathe out slowly.
Light Me Up
I sit in my calm, dark life
Mmm, the darkness,
The embracing shadows, the creeping sins
Yes, the evils of the mind, delicious
The succulent fruits of hatred
I take a bite and let the juice slide down my chin,
A ray of light pierces my world, dissolving my evil fruit
The ray stabs through my head, painful, new, interesting
The world gains color, shades of black and gray going to the infinite hues of life
My eyes water and I close them, crying freely in this wonder, this marvel, this beauty
The windows shatter as the light explodes,
The light refracts through every shard, intensifying
Millions of miniature suns blazing
The darkness is destroyed, and the lights fade,
I manage to open my eyes, and see you through my tears.
Burn Me Up
I love the feel of your touch,
Of you being close to me, the heat, oh God the heat,
I love the burn
It tortures, it pleases
It entices, makes me want you, how I want you
You come closer, the heat intensifies, ten fold
It burns too fiercely
I blacken and turn to ash before you, and still I want it more
You whisper in my ears, set my soul on fire
You look into my eyes, and all I see is your beauty
Your dark, terrible, wonderful beauty
and ashes, all turned to ashes with the heat
You kiss me, and I fall about you,
Ashes and nothing more.
